10 Week Painting Classes in HEADFORD TOWN & CLONBUR VILLAGE, Co. Galway.
See below for details…..
Classes strictly limited to 10 Places
Denise is currently accepting bookings for the WINTER/SPRING term of her 2020 painting courses for adults. If you find that your chosen class is currently fully booked we advise you to contact us and put your name on our short waiting or cancellation list to avoid further disappointment.
Geared mainly towards oil, acrylic and watercolour, all courses consist of ten two-hour weekly classes. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of ten students.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced painter, these classes will help you master your chosen media or experiment with new ones. You will work at your own pace and in your own style with a large range of custom lessons, advice and demonstrations available as and when required. All classes start at the scheduled time with short ‘warm-up’ drawing exercises which are led by your teacher and are designed to help you loosen up, increase your concentration and improve your practise.
During the rest of the class everyone will be working on their own image at their own pace so there is no pressure to keep up with anyone but yourself!
Above all you will learn how to look at Art, how to read Art, to listen and talk to pigment and canvas, to hear what your media likes to do, to find that balance and ‘finish’ in your own work.
Periodically, Denise organises a public exhibition for those students who wish to display and/or sell their work.
Let your imagination take flight….!
