Artist Denise Hogan and Reiki Master Aria Sweeney collaborate to present this unique and popular workshop.

Energy Art is the depiction of energy using colour, form, and composition to create inventive and expressive works of art that resonate with impact and feeling.

Reiki is a very simple safe form of healing that works by channelling the life energy that is in and around us. This technique has its origins in Japan and translates from Japanese as ‘Universal Life Force’.

With Denise you will discover both the therapeutic value of painting and the pure beauty of art. This full-immersion ‘energy flow’ painting workshop gives you the freedom to express your inner self without self-consciousness or self-criticism, to create a uniquely personal piece of art.

Under the professional guidance of Aria, you will be introduced to Reiki Level 1, learning to use this energy on the body’s chakras, or energy centres to reduce stress and promote healing for yourself and those around you.

No experience in either art or healing is required.

The full workshop runs Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 5:30pm and is divided into four modules. Students may book two or four module options:

Option A: Full weekend course (Saturday/Sunday)

Option C: Reiki I Only (Sat. 10am-1.30pm / Sun. 2.30pm-5.30pm)
