This is an exciting and creative workshop intended for the more experienced student. Working in a variety of mixed media on paper students will be exploring their own expression and creativity through the addition of a narrative to the artworks. Your artistic self will be challenged and pushed, encouraged and incited to create a piece of art that tells a story in whatever way is individual to you. Expect an artistic boot-camp for your creativity!
All materials will be provided for the weekend as well as all-day refreshments and home-cooked lunches. On confirmation of your booking you will be sent a brief for the weekend inviting you to bring along additional items of inspiration and potential mixed media materials so that you may get the most from your workshop. Denise Hogan is an award-winning artist and teacher of art with over 18 years experience as a professional artist. A graduate of fine art and design, a printmaker and painter, Denise is highly skilled in her practise and as a teacher.
The workshops run from 10am – 5pm with refreshments available all day. There is a break at midday to enjoy a home cooked lunch.
