Denise Hogan – Visual Artist

Denise Hogan is a Galway-based visual artist whose recent paintings explore water as both living force and site of ecological consequence. Moving between recognisable landscapes and more intuitive imagined spaces, the work invites reflection on the tensions between wild systems, human intervention and collective responsibility. Rooted in direct sensory experience and ecological concern, the paintings hold beauty and disturbance simultaneously, opening space for questioning, conversation and deeper connection with the living world.

Denise has exhibited extensively throughout her career and has works hanging in private and public collections both nationally and internationally. She is a regular exhibitor in The Cong Art Gallery in Cong, Co. Mayo, in the West of Ireland.
